Kitchen Craft is a British company dating back to the mid-19th century manufacturing kitchen accessories, tableware, utensils, and many other products used by both individuals and professionals in the catering industry.
Founded in 1850, Kitchen Craft was originally a manufacturer and wholesaler of hardware and household items. Often still referred to by many of its customers by the name of its founder Thomas Plant, the company has evolved and is now one of the largest kitchenware and household goods companies in the UK. Accustomed to dealing with its customers for many years, the company preferred to change its name from Thomas Plant to Kitchen Craft to give customers a better idea of what they were doing and began to establish themselves as market leaders in all types of kitchen and home products and accessories. In recent years, the brand has joined the Lifetime Brands Inc. group, a major global supplier of kitchen utensils, tableware, and other household products.
